I am a Visual Effects Artist/Compositor working for Artifex Studios. After attending the Digital Film Program at The Art Institute of Vancouver I found myself working as a Production Assistant next to video village on the film set of Fantastic Four when the VFX Supervisor(Kurt Williams) was handed a laptop with temp dailies of shots that were shot a couple of days earlier. I figured I'd have a peak over his shoulder and what I saw made way more sense than what we had shot on the day. My last day on Fantastic Four was 21 hours standing in the rain. Three months later I found my way into the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts(VanArts) to pursue an education and a career in the Visual Effects industry. And here I am, and never looked back!
